关于整个英国连在加里波利神秘消失的故事，根据现在的研究，这个连参加了一场组织不当的进攻，相当于正撞上对方枪口，于是2个小时就被团灭了，不过如当时一些土耳其人的观点，“这些住在天堂里的人怎么想来征*这个破地方呢？”
