#M+ Cinema#本作的一种文脉研究路径：在极细致地呈现核爆中人体变异的一瞬，五年后的《赤足小子》同样画出核爆异变的人体可谓异曲同工。而又过五年后《萤火虫之墓》则在这两作的延长线上，被战火烧伤的母亲的身体就这样直白地画出来，眼看着这样的人变成**。但《萤火虫之墓》发展出的新的问题就是，如此写实的描绘必然会震撼常人，与该作秉持的间离理念违背。这个与战败经历息息相关的动画文脉之起点或许是始于大塚英志的一说——战时日本动画学习了迪斯尼的那种圆形几何图形构成的漫画符号式人物却出现了流血的身体现象，在战后日本动画一步步的写实进程中《萤火虫之墓》已是对流血的动画身体之矛盾性最终极的一次暴露，从此日本动画写实表现的再一次进化又开始了。
