很有意思的历史剧，从两个角度看都是很棒的故事，白人的入侵历史，流放犯的新生路。男主是个流放犯，并未将妻子回忆中的英国视作家乡，清醒的知道要想给妻子理想富足生活就必须在野蛮新地立足，在道德和现实中选择了后者，最后成功的让妻子成为富家太太，只有小儿子一直无法原谅他。白人入侵的故事也讲得很不错，各人不同的初态度到***，最后白人的胜利，财富的血腥积累。
