迈克莫勒入行十多年之后第一次拉班子当导演，贡献了几场动作效果不错的决斗戏并且尽秀出色的腿上功夫，其中两场甚至还简单挪用了甄子丹的《特警屠龙》和《洗黑钱》中的创意。全片采用英语对白估计也是有对外推广动作团队的考虑。不过几场铺垫剧情里的群斗戏矛盾逻辑和调度就很糟烂，矛盾升级手段简直和传染丧尸**如出一辙，观众也搞不明白他们为什么就突然就打起来了。
